The Middle East is actually quite fertile; it is the place where agriculture was invented. Also, it has a lot of oil under the soils, so the question is - why don't you leave the Middle East alone, including the billions of dollars you give to Israel, and you may even stop consuming 25% of the worlds oil when you only are 12% of its population!
