The reason that they can be better friends is that that's all they see women as, friends because they're not interested in sex with women. There isn't any physical attraction and they would treat you just like a guy friend if they were straight. Maybe we feel the need to compete with other women when it comes to love for men. When really I think we should put aside feelings of jealousy and the feeling to compete for mens approval and just be more nice to each other.

I have a gay friend and he knows exactly what I go through and gives me the right advice, he makes a better friend to me because he thinks differently than others, all women think the same, he solves my problems from a guy's prospective....also 90% of women are bitches when it comes to asking for help especially abt relationships, instead of giving u the rite info they will hurt you further

They make better friends because they are not your competition. Women friends can sometimes say things very catty because they are jealous of you. But a gay friend will alway accept you for who you are.

Not to be insulting but in my experience women have a tendency to want their Friends to be miserable so they feel better about themselves. Gay guys want everyone to be happy.

They understand/are interested your femenine issues without proposing a threat to your relationships with men. Since they are not in competition with you, they can't make you feel inferior/relatively unattractive. It allows you be close with a man without being concerned that he is trying to get in your pants. It keeps you open minded.

theyre more trustworthy than women. girlfriends will try to take your man. a gay guy might try, but if your man gets with him then he wast right for u in the first place. gay guys also tend to be more honest. a girl might try to salvage your feeligs, but a gay guy will give it to u straight up.

Their sensitivity and less of a threat as far as being to pushy with getting intimate. Among other things like acessorising and all! LOL!

it's just like stright guys they are easier to get along with rather than females because females are drama and they only back stabb u and stuff like that and with a guy you can talk to them about almost anything and it will stay between you guys and stuff like that that's why half of my friends are guys.....
