because things that are not solid seldom leave fossil evidence.
we do not have any evidence of ancient water, but we know that it was there.

Do you have evidence of the earth being formless and desolate and covered completely in raging water? Or depending on the version you read, do you have evidence of the void? Since the primordial ooze was the first thing. Odds are there isn't any left. I'm guessing all those first little slimy creatures fed off of it.

There is still a lot we don't know in this area. But 150 years ago we had no idea that there were bacteria, so we have come quite a long ways. Most of the Abiogenesis theory is still very theoretical and not thoroughly tested. We have the chemistry that makes the building blocks for life down pretty well but we do not know exactly how it comes together
None of that implies that it had to be magic.

Scientists have created amino acids in a lab from just organic molecules. They postulate that given enough chance, amino acids could develop in the same way that have self replicating properties just like DNA does, the rest of life on this planet follows purely from logic at that point.

In addition to Novangelis' answer, you might want to check out this link, which provides some empirical evidence supporting the theory.

The "primordial ooze" was the oceans at an early time in earth's history.
And they seem to be there now.

Wow, I think you have just proven evolution false!
Now, just post your ideas in a peer reviewed scientific paper and you've got a couple Nobel prizes waiting for you. Plus you'll have fame and fortune and will be admired by all creationists for the rest of your life.
Good luck with that paper, I can't wait to see it!

According to scientists, all the primordial ooze evolved into sea animals, then to land animals, and finally into you and me.
It makes me wonder what WE will evolve into !?
Evolution:
From the GOO
To the ZOO,
To YOU .
Fortunately, Jesus saves us even from THAT fate.
