How could you even think such a question? Does public health matter? Come on, think about it! HOW could you have made it to college without knowing that?

To me they are very important.
The problem today its about the money, too many are specialized, and you become just a number in the system.
Those little town doctors are going by the wayside, now the hospitals are corporations expecting big profits .
Lawyers have ruined it for a lot of doctors, with high insurance rates,, but it also goes to the out of control insurance companies in the USA too. Greed!!
Good doctors get into becoming a doctor to help people, not for the money and the big house!!
I know a lot of very good ole doctors, most live modestly, work until they couldnt work anymore, in their 80's etc.... have small homes, not 3 homes etc....
It is sad, we review people that are suppose to helps us at the same level we hold politicians and lawyers now.
Im sure there are a lot of good well meaning people out there, but until we get to a national health care system and price caps and demand better care than we actually get now from the system, its only going to get worse. The money to fund the national system is there, we pay it out already in one form of program or another thru out the country.
Ask a doctor today to trade his services for a baked pie or just a hug. If they do help they go to foreign countries, that same helping attitude is needed here.
This is a wide area to explore and complicated. It still boils down to greed!!
Whole damn world operates on it!!
What can you do for me!!
Lets sue , get some money, settle out of court, jurys think it could be them and award excessive monies, etc..
Insurance companies making huge profits, and still pay out billions, Greed 101!!
Good luck !!
