Good Parents will worry about you whether you are 18 or 80 :).
Let them know you are uncomfortable around girls because of your acne. Ask your mom to get you a good acne medicine to help you out. In the mean time, wash your face with peroxide two or three times a day. This should help with the acne.
Unless you are doing something you're ashamed of, let them know where you are going, with whom, and when you expect to be back. If you're not doing anything specific, tell them you're just hanging out with the guys at Joe's house or the local McDonald's. Tell her your just socializing. Don't hesitate to call and tell them you will be late. All they want to know is if you were in an accident or something. Don't forget they are worried about drugs, drinking and driving, and all the other trouble teens can get into. They were young once too.
They care, be thankful! There are so many kids out there whose parents don't give a rat's butt what they do, who they are, or if they are hungry. I've seen it.
Explain to you mother that your brother hangs with a different crowd. Let her know he acts up and doesn't get along with your friends when he goes with you, and since you aren't his dad, you really can't correct him. Let her know he makes your friends uncomfortable and it makes it really rough to have a good time with him around since he doesn't have a good time either. He really should make friends his own age.
When you are older you and your brother will appreciate each other more. Been there, done that.

Follow what dreams and goals you have rather than focusing on your appearance. Look at all successful people. They too have flaws. If you don't focus on the flaw you will be able to enjoy yourself so much more.
Find interests in different areas and join activities or clubs like the gym and enjoy.
When you have a conversation with a girl listen to her interests rather than focus on her looks. What is she striving for, you should be able to figure this quite quickly. If you cannot, she is probably shallow and has not arrived at this stage of looking past looks but rather meaning.
As far as your parents wanting to know what is up. That's habit. Once you have solid goals and interests they will continue to ask or want to know where you are going etc.
Give back to the community some way.
Best to you.

Are you still in highschool? Suck it up till you go away for college then it will be done. Are they paying for college? Does your brother want to go with you? The truth is that your parents are using you as a babysitter and theire is nothing you can do about it while you are under their roof.
Does your brother like going with you? If not you need to tell your brother to tell parents that he doesnt enjoy going out with you. They are making you take him to get him out of house. But if you dont like it and he dont like it you may have a chance.
If not, one more year, Get your stuff together and plan a way out. Intergview for jobs and work your butt off. Tell them if you are still in highschool that you would like to switch to full time asap. If you can do full time on your non school hours do it. j

wait.. are you having trouble finding girls because of your acne or because your parents are over protective? At first it sounded like you have a hard time with your self esteem because of your acne, but then you end it with your tired of your family.
You're 18! Your an adult! Respect your parents but you don't have to listen to them.

dude that isn't even a question, and everyone your age has acne. Girls in high school like guys who just take them, and that's especially easy with a few shots of nikolai in you.
Nikolai! drink of champions!
