Hopeless romantic is frequently misused. It has nothing to with romantic love. It is an old term for adventure. One that has a lot of daring do and danger. A hopeless romantic is a person who derives pleasure from such tales. And has that kind of world view.i.e. A knight in shining armor or a damsel in distress. Do you go running to the rescue or always in the need of a rescue by a knight in shining armor? Or do you just imagine that kind of stuff a lot?

I think a hopeless romantic is someone who is always in a bad relationship, but keeps looking and doesnt get discouraged.
My motto in life & love is something I read on the internet once...

A hopeless romantic is someone who's heart is set aflutter by the cute little things that guys do in the movies, you know, like sneaking to her house at night and throuwing rocks at her window to get her attention just so he can say "I love you and I miss you like crazy." The list goes on and on but i won't bore you with the details. It's just the cute little things that almost bring tears to your eyes, they're just so darn cute!
My personal motto to live by is: Try as though you're not afraid to fail, Live as though today were your last, and Love as if you've never been hurt.

hopeless romantic definition:ME! lol its someone who is always romantic, they always dream, always have their heads in the clouds.....
my motto would probably be:no matter how low you are there is always someone worse off. when you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up! So always look on the bright side of life.....
