make sure you put shaving cream and shave close enough.

First, get a new razor. Brand new. Doesn't have to be expensive, just new and clean. Apply shaving cream as you normally would. Shave up first, then down. Then left to right. You might need to reapply a little shaving cream between directions. If you need to (as weird as it sounds), feel in certain directions to see if there's still hair there. If there is, then shave in that direction. It's a little more time consuming, but the result is pretty good.
(I'd reccomend waxing though. Just for the fact that it lasts longer.)

I would try shaving in every direction..this is very painful the first time you do it. Just whatever you do, don't automatically go to shaving against the hair growth. First go with the hair growth ,then side ways, then go against it. Also I would try using BikiniZone anti-bumps shavgel, that helps reduce the bumps and irritation. I would also make sure you do this in the shower with the water running right on it. Once you get out of the shower, using deodorant on the area also helps with the irritation and bumps. Whatever you do, just be careful no matter what!

You should get a wax don't be embarrased they see too many in a day to count. It keeps itchies at bay and it is only irritated for a couple hours. On top of it all if you use shave reducing lotion it maximizes the wax. You may only have to go in every 3 months or so.

Its prickly! When it starts to grow back, u will find the itch unbearable. Go for waxing. It is way better den shave. I used to shave and I cant take the itchyness. After waxing, I feel its more cleaner.

Yeah i get that too, so annoying. I think my hair is more course down there than normal, or im shaving it the wrong way because you aren't meant to go againt the hair growth im told. The best thing to do is to wax it. Hair stays away longer anyway.

I think it's because the skin is much more thin and sensitive. Try a Brazilian bikini wax. It may cause a little pain for a few minutes, but once you see and feel the finished product, it will be well worth it and you will forget about the pain. Good luck!
