i know that this is kinda weird for a guy to ask but what are some ways to tell my parents that i want to start dating? do you have any examples of ways to tell them? plz help there is a girl that i really like and i want to ask her out

First of all, does your family have any rules for dating? Alot of dating depends on your age, the person(s) you are going with, and what you will be doing. ALOT of it also has to do with how good of a kid you are. My adivce...be honest. Bring it up at dinner that there is a girl you would like to take to dinner or a movie. A good parent will know if you are ready or not. Just know that what ever your parents say, they are saying it to try and keep you safe.

YOUR PARENTS ARE PROTECTIVE POSSIBLY WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE, AND THEY ALSO WANT YOU TO GET A GOOD EDUCATION. TELL THEM YOUVE MET A REALLY NICE GAL THAT LIKES STUDYING ETC LIKE YOU DO ETC. AND HAS AMBITIONS VERY SIMILAR. TO YOURS. WHEN YOU DRIVE TO VISIT HER TELL YOUR FOLKS YOUR GOING TO MEET YOUR FRIEND AT THE LIBRARY. IT MIGHT BE NICE IF YOUR FOLKS COULD MEET HER. KINDA CREATE A BRIDGE GRADUALLY AND THEN WHEN YOU BOTH ARE ALONE ENJOY EACH OTHER AND RETURN HOME ON TIME FOR THE FIRST COUPLE OF TIMES THEN EXTEND YOUR TIME WITH HER. MORE LITTLE BY LITTLE. WHERE THERES A WILL THERES A WAY. HAVE FUN !

Just tell your parents "Hey me and my friend are going out to the movies. Then start to hang out with her more in front of your parents and eventually they will realize that you are a boy and you are going to date.

depends...how old are you? You should probably just come right out and tell them you would like to ask this certain girl out....they might be cool with it....i wasnt informed that my son (he's 15) was dating a girl till i met her one day....she is a very nice girl and i'm glad he found her......try just talking to your parents...ya never know! parents are funny creatures....lol GOOD LUCK!!!

Have your parents told you that you can't date until a specific age, if not, just say "next Friday I am going to gout with ___ if that is okay." they will get the point. and probably get all gushy about it, but that's okay, parents will be parents

You don't say how old you are...why not show them you are mature enough to date, by just TELLING them you think you're ready to date and then ACTING like you are mature..

Just ask the person out and then be liek.. "hey mom I have a girlfriend woot woot" and your mom will be like "no way hunny no one would want you" and youd be liek "whatever"
