It isn't a fact of bringing bad luck, but what about that element of taking his breath away when he sees you appear before him?
Trust me, as I stand at the front with the groom awaiting the arrival of the bride, she is indeed one of the most beautiful sights! Don't take that away from him.

I don't believe in luck, good or bad, but I do believe your groom will be missing out on a wonderful moment. There's nothing like the thrill of the groom seeing his beautiful bride walking down the aisle on the day of your wedding. Don't rob yourselves of that moment.

I think you could show him a picture of the dress, but tell him you want the intent of surprise of how beautiful you look in it to be saved for you wedding day. You want to take his breath away and remember how beautiful you looked coming down the isle! Good luck!

That depends on whether or not the two of you are superstitious. I don't care if my fiance sees my dress before the wedding I just don't want him to see me IN the dress.

i think it's only if he sees you in the dress that is bad luck. so i don't see why not. my fiacne has seen pictures of every dress i've ever thought of wearing!! i figure i want him to have a say in it too; i just want to know what he thinks i owuld look most fitting in. not that he's much help on the matter (he's thought everyone i've found except maybe 1 or 2 would look great), but it's still fun and nice to have his opinion!!

It is really your decision and not your families. I brought my fiance to see dresses with me. He is my best friend and it was his comments that mattered the most to me. I wanted something he also liked. It will still be a huge surprise to him when he sees me the first time. There is still a big difference than the first time he saw you in a model gown without makeup and when you have your hair and makeup done, and it is your actual fitted gown.

I showed my fiance a pic of my dress. I don't think it will bring you bad luck, that's an old wives tale

Its not bad luck, but dont do it. The anticipation of seeing you in your gown is huge, and when he finally sees you as you are about to walk down the aisle it will be breath taking.

That is part of your special day, for him to see you walking up the aisle. I have seen a guy reduced to tears when he sees his future wife walking up the aisle.
My daughter got married in September and the look on her fiance's face was priceless. She wore a Justin Alexander.....gorgeous
