I have been sneezing like crazy since yesterday. My nose has been running and itchy. Watery eyes at times.

Just today I started to have chills, I am extremely tired/fatigue, mild headache and have a low grade fever. The runny nose and watery eyes have gone away but I am still sneezing.

What could this be. I hope its not the start of a flu because I have exams all this week.

I don't really have the money to go to the doctor if its not anything serious.

Sounds like a cold. Allergies don't typically cause a fever. And if the mucus from your nose is green/yellow, it's a cold. If clear, it's allergies.

I've always had great luck with Nyquil. I just drink as much as I can stand - usually a third of a bottle - before bedtime. The next morning, I feel much better. You will have that Nyquil hangover feeling, but you won't feel like total crap. Then take Dayquil during the day to keep the running nose and all that in check.

If the watery eyes persist, take a Benadryl. That will dry them up.

Different people have different reactions to allergens. The most common symptoms of seasonal allergies are:

Clear runny nose
Itchy or dry eyes
Sneezing
Headache

Some people may experience more severe allergic reactions which can include hives (red itchy rash) and difficulty breathing.

How can I tell if I have seasonal allergies or a cold?
A cold will usually last two weeks or less. It is possible for colds to last longer, but usually they will clear up within two weeks. Seasonal allergies last until the pollen or other allergen that you are allergic to is gone or you are no longer exposed to it.

Cold symptoms are also usually slightly different than allergy symptoms. Cold symptoms include:

Runny nose - may be clear, green, yellow or white
Sneezing
Cough
Headache
Congestion

Sounds to me like a mild viral infection. True influenza starts very quickly, often within hours. Rest as much as possible and drink lots of liquids. I suggest not going anywhere until the fever goes down or you'll make things worse.

Influenza is a viral respiratory disease. It involves running a fever.
Allergies rarely result in a fever. Influenzas and cold have no cure, except to help your body fight them by resting and taking lots of fluids. Medications for colds/'flu' only relieve the symptoms briefly. You have to decide!!!!!!!!
