ok i want to dye the undernieth of my hair black, i just dyed it a solid brown color last weekend, the lady who cut my hair said my hair was dry and i was going to do it today. i got some shampoo other than what i have because it puts dye in my hair which dries it out soi got sunsilk which makes my hair soft, should i dye underneith black this weekend and use a deep moistuizing cream or should i wait?? im dying it semi-permanet black soim not bleaching it but im not sure what to do...any help....thanks

Right before you dye it, it's actually better to use a crappy shampoo. It strips the hair and let's the dye get to it easier. After dying it the deep moisturizing cream is good. And also after dying it you should try getting a shampoo that helps the color not to fade. Hope that helps.

Dying your hair shouldn't dry it out. Not with the tube of cream that comes with it. My hair used to get big balls of dried hair in the back from laying on it and tossing and turning. When I dyed my hair it got rid of the dryness till it grew out. You should start with clean hair, no cream rinses. Dye it the color you want and use whatever shampoo you prefer to wash it out. Use the cream rinse they give you, because it is stronger than the normal one's you buy in the store. After that you can use whatever shampoo and cream rinses you want. You shouldn't be having problems with dryed out hair.

you should wait... The chemicals will cause breakage!! Wait 4 to 6 weeks

Waiting a week is fine. Semi-permanent is better than permanent too.

dont dye your hair black underneath or at all, please. girls that arent born with it werent born with it for a reason.

just keep your solid brown color. and try moisturizing it.
