I asked my guy friend this over a week ago and he hasn't responded to me, but he responded to my best friend who emails with him too. He said other guys are intimidated by us because we have the nerd stereotype. People think we don't know how to have fun and all we do is study and try to out-smart people. That's why it's good to not believe in stereotypes. He also said once guys get to know us, it's different; we're fun and outgoing. The problem is trying to find a guy that will get to know you. You could also make the first move. Guys don't want to always have to stick their neck out on the line, they want girls to do something that shows they like them. You could try flirting with the guy you like and see how he responds. Some guys are too scared to ask, other guys just aren't interested. But don't worry, it's not your fault. I feel the same way. Some guys are too immature and don't realize what is really good in a relationship until you might get into college. I know it sounds like a long time, but it's not. You'll find the right guy, sometime. Good luck.

Boys never liked me or asked me out either, but when I got to be 17 I "grew into my looks" and ended getting all kinds of dates. I know it's hurtful, but hang in there. You're still a wonderful, valuable person, and if guys don't see your outer beauty now, they will eventually.

i did not extremely ask mine out... we only assumed me were together because we acted like a pair. Then we pronounced we weren't extremely courting because the question develop into under no circumstances requested. So he did - only so we would have a date set (like for aniver & whatnot). yet yeah, for sure. some females favor the former-formed way that men could continually ask the lady out. yet having said that, others don't love beating around the bush and they flow for it themselves. It only relies upon at the variety of lady she is and her thoughts in the route of you. don't be shy although, if you're fascinated, flow ahead and ask!

Because you're not on the market. You create how people treat you. I'm not saying become a prostitute but you should assert yourself. I'm sure you're a desirable person if you tried. You probably have a shell that you don't venture out of. Be yourself, and be outgoing.

hon, it might not even be you. i mean you didn't give alot of info on here. But never think it is your fault, it is the guys fault for not noticing you. Try and ask someone you like out, it isn't bad for a girl to ask someone out. Go ahead and get them girl.

Why don't you make the first move? Why leave it up to the guys? some guys are shy, some are too shallow. Chances are you aren't outgoing enough. That doesn't mean be a whore, just be yourself and don't be afraid to talk to someone.
