...for MAKING me meet his parents when he knows I didn't want to?
I don't feel comfortable meeting them because we are not supposed to be together in the first place and I want to keep the relationship on the DL.
He told me (after I'm far from home and have no form of transportation) that his parents are ready inside and waiting for us to take them to the store. I was irrate because it seemed so underhand of him not to tell me. AM I WRONG FOR being mad that he would resort to that to get me to meet them? Is he right for being mad at me because I wasn't too happy to meet them?

Yes he is a jerk. Not for wanting you to meet his parents but for putting you in a situation you did not want to be in that he knew of ahead of time. You have every right to be upset with him. Its not about meeting his parents, its about him respecting you enough to not put you in a situation he knew you did not want to be in. If he was mature about it, he would talk to you ahead of time about it and try to make you understand his reasons, and not throw you in an akward situation he knew would get him in more trouble afterwards.

he might have been scared about you meeting them as much as you were. he might think that you dont like his parents and that would get him irritated, but you have a right to be upset because you did not know what was going on. if you tell him that you felt hurried and you were not comfortable then he should understand how you reacted the way you did.

He should have talked to you about it first, maybe he thinks your that special to him he wanted and needed you to meet his parents, and maybe you were not listening to him just thinking of your own emotions and thoughts about the whole meeting the parents situation.
Talk it over, for him to do something like this he either really loves you or he is a control freak.

yeah...i'd probably be mad too! that was a little deceiving.....but at least it was only to take them to the store and not out to dinner or something that would have lasted hours and hours.....just be thankful you didnt have to spend alot of time with them! but yeah...i'd still be upset for sure!
