can cancer spread baby to mother?

if a fetus were to develop some form of cancer, could it metastasize to the mother through the umbilical cord, or by other means?

Well, It's ridiculously rare, but there have been cases of cancer spreading from mother to fetus, so I'm sure it's possible for the reverse to happen.

im not shure but its not a bad idea for the mother too get CHECKED OUT I LOST MY WIFE JAN. THE 10 2007 DUE TO CANCER GOOD LUCK

no ,cancer is not contagious
