I wouldn't suggest doing it...too many risks. Just go to a piercing place if you want one...
I wouldn't get a pierced lip anyways though, what would you do when you're eating? Lol. But it's your decision.

Dont do that. You have a much greater chance of it getting infected. If you cant do it professionally because your parents wont let well their going to notice it anyway. If you dont have enough money save up for it.

You don't that's a stupid question. My mom pierced her ears when she was kid and it hurt a lot more than it could have, if she had gone to a pro.

oh dear god, Please Please DO NOT pierce your lip by yourself! Go to a place to do it, make sure the place is clean. It may cost lots of money but your saving yourself from a horibble infection!

first of all, why are you even asking this question? a lip ring (especially doing one by yourself) can cause infection, not to mention sore gums on the inside of your mouth.
so my advice, just stay away, please!

umm... my friend did in the bathroom at school with a safety pin. Not very smart but it worked. use ice to numb the pain.

Hope you have good insurance. You'll probably need it when the infection sets in.
