I won't go to the masjid or fellowship with other believers because I HATE his followers? I love the message of peace but.............I hate his followers.

Would you say, "THEN YOU ARE NOT ONE OF US?"

I've found that Arab Muslims discriminate against European and American Muslims because Arabic isn't our native tongue. Why would I want to continue being Muslim when there is such racism amongst the community? Pakistanis against Arabs….Arabs against Americans…..Europeans against Americans and so on?

Is your first reaction to my thoughts, "We don't need you anyway and you can go to hell"?

well, muslims are brothers and sisters. we must love and respect each other in everyway. the followers you dislike are the people who don't care very much about islam. it seems to me that you haven't met a good muslim. and no my first reaction isn't something like go to hell because you want to be a muslim and that's a big miracle. ..

I am so sorry that you have had such a hard time with the Arab brothers and sisters in your community. But truthfully you get that no matter what religion you are. There will always be people in your church or community that believe that they are more religious than you are. But you are the only one that knows your heart.

Personally in the mosque I attend we do not have too much of this problem. I am currently learning Arabic in the mosque Sunday school. Since it is the language you must at least be able to read Arabic so that you can get the full meaning of the Quran because so much is lost in translation. And your prayers are to be preformed in Arabic. My husband also helps me.

Now I have have seen the bad side too. My in-laws do not except me because I am a white American that has been divorced have have two children from my previous marriage. But my husband would not put up with the way they treated me and have not spoken to them in 3 years.

I hope that you find the peace that you need.

that first answer that you got is one of the Muslims who are never really grateful of themselves... well all I can say.. you do have that option.. Mahatma Ghandi was not a Christian, but he loved God and hated the Christians... And with Mahatma Ghandi did... he was able to create a larger view of life and religion and thus created a respect in religions around him. Maybe that kind of Attitude is what the world really needs right now. People are so narrow minded and would not bother to listen or hear out what other people would say. It's good to hear someone creating an option for oneself than always saying that you have no choice to be like one. Go for it if you really do love the religion ISLAM, but make sure you really do... Take care.

Me as a muslim i wlecome u in, most of us will. One of the most important thing in islam, that we are all brothers, love each other, help each other. So who hates u won't be a real muslim.

the masjid i go to all muslims from different background and all i see is kindness toward each other. Muhammad has fought the Arab pagans and fought his people, faith has nothing to do with where you from.

and prophet Muhammd mentioned that you can't believe unless you love for your brother what you love for yourself.

No I wont say that. I converted to Islam.. but doing all those senseless things.. I never find them important, not even religious. I do when I feel... not for the sake of doing that.
So.. no sensible person would accuse u of anything.
