For the past 24 hours my nose has been continually runny (the mucous is very clear and has the consistency of water). It is only on one nostril, and the nostril feels itchy in just one place (and it won't go away). I have no other symptoms at all other than feeling very nauseated earlier today (probably because of all the drainage into my throat).

Any ideas on what is wrong?

Sound like an allergy. A clear runny nose with no other symptoms is usually allergies, and you can nausea from drainage running into your stomach(Just like you said). Hope it clear up soon. You can try some decongestants to help dry up the drainage.

It could be a number of things. It could be an allergic reaction to something you have come in contact with. You may have a sinus infection on one side or even a cold. You may be experiencing early signs of the flu, even if you had the flu shot you can still get a mild case. My daughter did yesterday for a few hours her nose was running. This morning she was fine again. She had the flu shot too. I ran a very low fever for a few days that I attribute to a mild case of the flu too. I too had the flu shot. Many people around us who have not been vaccinated have been very ill.

Sounds like you could have sinus troubles or allergies. Can start at anytime or any age. Plenty of over the counter remedies at the Pharmacy that work great without making you drowsy. Best to get it checked by a doctor if it continues, to exactly pinpoint the problem.

could be dust. I have the same problem right now also, all you have to do is eat some healthy foods like green apples or it might be that your going to get sick. take a clove of garlic cut a 3rd of it off, and then cut that 3rd into little peices and take them like a pill. If you are getting sick that will stop it before it gets any further.

Something is irritating you. It is not a deficiency of some pharmaceutical. If you put a pinch of salt in 1/2 cup of warm water, and sniff it up your nose (over the sink of course) you can flush things pretty thoroughly.

It sounds like allergies to me. Maybe you are allergic to something around you or you need to go to the doctor to find out what it is. It could clear up on it's own, though.

You could be allergic to something, check to see what has changed in your environment recently. Or your system is sensitive to changes in ambient temperature and reacts with the runny nose.

Sinuses are draining or allergies. Take some sinus pills to dry it up and help it go away. Aleve sinus or Tylenol sinus work well.

its probably the virgin flu. I hear that's making the rounds again in the US. At least that's one flu I'll never get anymore
