I have a 2003.... I love it!!! What a solid powerfull monster!! We had a few inches of snow Friday, I put it in 4 wheel drive and it ate through the snow like it wasn't there. My Durango is solid, fast, powerfull, decent on gas on the highway.... and looks great. I would never buy a different SUV.

Great vehicle. I have a 2003 slt+ v-8 5.9l.. NOt very into the 2nd generation models(2004+) the body to me isnt very appealing. But a very roomy car especially the newer models. But kind of a gas hog. but overall the performance and addons plus comfortability is worth it.

I had a 99 durango SLT
It ran great, never had any problems. It's nice and roomy.
Not the greatest on gas mileage though..

Drove a 2001 SLT. Loved it. Strong engine, intimidating "growl". I let a friend drive it who accidentally ran it through a 4 way intersection, constantino wire, through a ditch and into a wooded area-- one wheel was ripped off the axel. It was totalled-- but no one inside was hurt at all-- nothing got inside the cabin. SAFE! :) but a guzzler nonetheless.

Older models are great but the new ones suck they have loads of recalls

there noted for tranny problem my cousin has made alot of money in his tranny shop in the last 2 years repairing there trannys thats all i can say about them
