Do you mean WHITE Americans?
Because, when you say "Americans" it refers to Americans of all colors - including dark Hispanic Americans and dark Asian Americans
American is NOT a color, it's a nationality

Some Americans don't feel as threaten by Asians as they do Latinos.
It's wrong either way.

That's just your perception.....others may feel the opposite.
