My take as an atheist. Take a look at dogs, they are slightly different and yet they have sex and reproduce. This tells me they were interbreeding. It is hard for these cave people to have known they were completely different. They probably fight each other and capture the females to be their mates. I bet they could interbreed just like dogs today. This is logical thought. If they have major intelligent then they might not breed but they didn't have such intelligence at the time since they were cavemen.

God didn't like the Neanderthals because they killed all of the dinosaurs. At least that's what I was thinking when I watched the Flintstones.

No, I'd come closer to believing that the aliens were trying to start a race of humans here, and they didn't fit close enough. Finally they helped us evolve past the neanderthals.

Second, why do you think Neanderthals were perverted? Maybe they WEREN'T--and He took them away before humans could corrupt them.
