I miss those 16 oz size bottles soooo much. I was thrilled when I recently went to New Mexico. Every single Mexican restaurant that we went to brought out ice cold 16 oz bottles of Coca Cola. They also provided glasses with ice, but I drank it straight from the bottle. Yeah, baby!
If you are a Coca Cola nut like me or love someone that is, here are some fun Coke gift suggestions: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/87210/top_ten_gift_ideas_for_cocacola_collectors.html

They still sell it in 8 oz bottles, in a 6-pack. You have to look for it, and not every store sells it. It's very pricey per serving, compared to cans or 2-liter bottles.
They will probably never bring back the 6½ oz glass bottle, though. People have larger appetites now, although 6½ oz was perfect to quench your thirst, IMO. Plus, you could play Coke Geography. (the small bottles were stamped w/ which bottler in which city produced them originally. So if you and your friends all got a coke, the person who's bottle came the farthest won.) Maybe you had to be there.

Coke is still available in glass bottles, I just saw it at the store last week. It's not as common to find as plastic bottled Coke or canned Coke, because it's heavier and more prone to breakage so it isn't cost effective for the company.

don't think so unless people don't mind paying more for them! it's more expensive than canned or plastic bottled ones...
they wanted to earn more, that's why... or cut costs, whichever way you want to believe!!! :D
