A cup is 8 oz.
5/8 of a cup is 5 oz.
An oz is 30 milliliters.
5 oz is 150 ml.
"Spoons" is too vague for me to go there.
And the rest of you people...I have tried and true family recipes that call for a "dash", a "pinch" and a "handful" of this or that-if your imagination is so stifled that you must be bound by "what everyone else does", well too bad for you!

The term is milliliters, not millimeters - the latter is a measure of length. A tablespoon is 15 milliliters. There's two tablespoons in an ounce. A cup holds eight ounces. You do the math.

'Cup' is an antiquated measure of volume. Millimeters is a measure of length. 'Spoons' (teaspoons???) are divisions of cups.
5/8ths of a cup is approximately 250 millileters.

Only 3 nations in the entire world still use English measurement -the US, Liberia and Burma. When will they smarten up???????
