I'm 28 and a year ago, I met this girl while I was working at blockbuster and she's 20. We went on our second date on Friday and things went great, went to dinner at Outback and had a romantic night at my apt. My roommate, which is my ex went to her parents and called on Saturday and Beth, (the 20 yr old), heard that she said she still loves me and if she can come home... Beth knew all about my ex was living with me, but she got real upset cause my ex still said she loves me and confused Beth and she just up and told me she doesn't want to hurt me anymore and she has to leave, cause she could hurt me more, she said that she cares about me, otherwise she would have shoved me away and went out the door, then she gave me this excuse that she was only 20yrs old and had alot of living to do. I told her i don't want an engagement, i just want to be w/ her. I don't know what to do. Everytime I try to call her, she hangs up on me and I've txted her quite a few times and still no response

Way are you still living with your ex?
This can not be a good thing for trying to meet and date other girls.
Talk to the 20 year old face to face and tell her how you feel .
After that get your own place

first of all your new girl is young so of course she's gonna feel weird if your ex, who by the way STILL lives with you, says she loves you. If you want the new girl I say you ditch the ex. Seriously, you guys may be great friends but any girl you want to be with just may react the same way. I mean think about it...if the situation was reversed how would you feel??

Why on Earth are you still living with your Ex?
No relationship is ever going to work for you with that living arrangement.
You need to get out on your own and get a fresh start.
of course your Ex is going to still love you, especially since you brought someone new home. (its called jealousy not love)
This is a never ending cycle, just move out and move on!!
