Does denying that life can come from nonlife also apply to God as some thinking they are ingenious assert? No it does not, because when we are talking about God we are talking about the necessary ground of all being and existence, not another contingent or insufficient cause. If God is the supreme answer and ground of all, by whom and obviously for whom all things were created and exist, then that is the final answer, that is what we are lookikng for, all of us, and that is also what must exist. This type of being, or ground must exist in any system. To think you are wise in trying to apply the argument to the Supreme Deity is misguided and wilful, rather than reasonable, it is like asking what is the answer to the answer.

This person is pissed off because I said that someone who claims that there can be no life out of what is dead shouldn't be going around believing in the afterlife.

You claim that life cannot come from non-life, and talk out the other side of your face about "eternal life" - the soul "surviving" death. You can't have it both ways.

Your claim is not off-limits to scientific inquiry. Yes, some who think they are ingenious are, in fact, ingenious. It does apply to God, because the assertion that life can come after death assumes that the impossible is possible. You're just pissed off because your own logic was used against you, and now you want to build bridges?

No thanks.

And how is this building bridges? Take a look what's going on in the Middle East in the name of God. Considering that, I think I'd rather burn some bridges to keep these people from me.

There's nothing more dangerous than a believer.

as far as i know, the only person who is trying to do this isn't just ingenious, he's simply the most amazing person to have ever graced this planet.

Steven Jay Gould.

He's looking for the Unified Field Theory (look it up...it's way to complex to post here).

His firm belief is that if and when he manages to work this out, he "will see the mind of God". How COOL is that???

"when we are talking about God we are talking about the necessary ground of all being and existence"

No, when we talk about god we are debating a fairy tale that really would be better done in the mythology section. You argue with false assumptions. Like, for instance, the assumption that your sky fairy is reality.

Stop trying to use big words. Clearly you have NO idea what they mean.
God is imaginary. Face reality for once ok? I'm sorry your parents or whoever it was brainwashed you into thinking that god is real, they really are to blame here, but pull your head out of your rectal cavity and see life for what it is ok?
No fairies, no pixies, no leprechauns and NO god.
Get it?
