When I was little my mother used to make barbie doll cakes for me. It's a really cute and easy idea. You can go to a cake decorating store or buy a cheep dollar barbie at the dollar store and bake a dome cake. You can get a cake pan that is shaped like a dome or you can use round pans that get smaller and trim them down after they are baked. But it's much easier to just use a dome pan. Then you stick the Barbies legs in the center of the dome and decorate around it like it was a dress. In this case you can do two of them and decorate the dresses in what appears to be their favorite colors. Good luck.

I think the 12-15 animals because the baby leopard could get tired. Use crate paper to decorate, twisting it every couple of centimeters to make it look like a jungle vine. Cut green cardboard to make it look like plants but leave room at the bottom of the cut out so that you can fold it over so that it can stand up. Use an old sheet and paint a jungle theme on it. A river, vines, plants, animals etc. GAMES: Use two old bed sheet and join them together as if you were to fold them, pin them against a wall and let people paint or sign it, depending on the age of the birthday person. Play pin the tail on the Elephant. OR if you are older play pin the tail on the drunk elephant. That is where you are blind folded and then take a shot of vodka, get spun around three times and then try and pin the tail on the elephant. FOOD have jungle like things such as mini sausage rolls and at some supermarkets you can buy green tomato sauce, but if that's not available just but ordinary sauce and put green food coloring into it. Make a jungle marble cake. By using green and blue food colouring. Have fun at the party =]

This is such a light and refreshing cake

You could do one yellow cake and one chocolate cake. Or one ice cream cake and a regular cake.
here's the recipe for a good chocolate cake with chocolate icing
Makes one 8-inch 3-layer cake; serves 10 to 12
1-1/2 cups plus 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1-1/4 cups boiling water
1-1/2 cups cake flour
1-1/2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/4 teaspoons baking soda
10 tablespoons (1-1/4 sticks) unsalted butter at room temperature
2-3/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
1-1/4 cups buttermilk
1-1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
Makes 3 cups, enough to frost 1 cake
BITTERSWEET CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
8 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
3 cups confectioners' sugar
Pinch of salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter three 8-inch round cake pans.
In a small bowl, whisk the cocoa and boiling water together, making a smooth paste. Set aside to cool. Sift the cake flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda together onto a sheet of waxed paper.
Put the butter and brown sugar in the bowl of a heavy-duty electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Cream on medium-high speed for 2 minutes, or until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at time, beating well after each addition. Decrease the speed to low and add the dry ingredients alternately with the buttermilk. Mix in the vanilla and the cocoa paste.
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans. Bake the layers for about 25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center of a cake comes out clean. Transfer the cakes to wire racks and let cool completely. Unmold them by running a knife along the inside edge of each pan and inverting them.
To make the frosting: In a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolates and butter together. Remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm.
Sift the confectioners' sugar and salt together into a large bowl. In a small bowl, combine the vanilla and the milk. Whisk the milk mixture into the confectioners' sugar. Add the melted chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Fill and frost the cake with the frosting.

How about doing a cake of two little girls laying next to one another. Maybe get a picture of them together and take it to a bakery to see if they can make a cake from it.

wow! that sounds good. You should put a theme on the cake, like their favorite cartoon or Disney character. The cake should also be tasty, meaning, nothing too sweet so the twins can enjoy it because too sweet means it will make them hyper. I was thinking maybe strawberry flavor with fresh strawberry's. You should just order it, have a professional make it so it looks awesome.

How about you make two smaller cakes with one big cake in the middle. like a wedding cake kind of.
And don't use any weird themes like dolls or stuff, cause your kids don't like that, or atleast they won't.
