Sometimes they just want to talk to you--especially Siamese. It is a real pain to have them under your feet in the kitchen and dangerous. Never feed them in the kitchen or while you're eating at the table because they will follow you and beg for food. If you discourage this and they get used to you feeding them after your done, things are so much more peaceful. I'm sharing a home with 2 other people and there are 4 cats total. It can be hectic without some routines. Oh, it was harder to train the people than the cats.
