I am experiencing sharp stabbing pains under my left rib cage. This occurs at least twice a day and prevents me from getting things done. The problem keeps presisting and seems to hurt the most after eating a meal. The only way I know to get the pain to lesson is to add pressure to it and arch over.

If you have this right now, you need to get evaluated ASAP! I work at a medical answering service and am on my way to becoming an EMT, and this is something that a doctor needs to look at right away. ESPECIALLY if this is an ongoing problem, because you could have heart disease, please go to the nearest ER.

Ah yes a common occurance around this time of year. What's happening is there is a build up of excessive acids in your stomach which are being blanched out through your esophageal cavitortas and this is creating a slight pressure on that area from the inside.
You should probably see a physician if the condition persists for more than 72 hours. I am a licensed professional and I do this for a living so you should trust me, okay?

I'm also a Level two now, so I know that's pretty impressive and all as well.

Good luck, burp more.

There might be some problem with your spleen. You should have an echo done. But it can also be a problem with your bowel movements. Do you go regularly to the bathroom? (No. 2 I mean) The stomach and the pancreas are also on the left - rule out ulcer (do you eat in the morning? has anybody in your family had ulcer?) and gall bladder stones that can block the pancreas's outlet.

Yep I have and most likely it's gas pains seriously use Beano before eating and antacids after eating it should solve ur problem. If it persist I'd check with a GI (Endocrinologist or Gastrologists spelled something like that) they can definetly help. Hope u feel better.

It looks like indigestion with gas caused by the foods you might eat, Cut out all fat for a few days and see if it disappears. If not, I would see a doctor.
