they are just fun to read, they have no real prediction about what will happen in your life

Crap. I knw the editor of our local daily newspaper and years ago persuaded him to print all the wrong horoscopes. The response to the wrong horoscopes was exactly the same as it was to the 'right' horoscopes.
Further, despite very detailed studies no evidence has been forthcoming to support horoscopes.
People believe in them because they want to - they accept the bits that are or could be true and reject the others.
I could write something here which anyone could read and say 'oh yes, that's me alright'.
If my horoscope for today had said 'a bad day for travel' I could easily interpret it as being correct as I got stuck in queues for roadworks. Alternatively, if it had said 'a good day for travel' I could jut as well interpret that as being correct as I had a very pleasant journey driving to see my brother.
A simple test - tell someone the star signs of people you know well, get them to read the differnt horoscopes but not tell you which is which then try and match the horoscopes to the people - it doesn't work.
Sorry to go on but things that prey on the gullible annoy me.

They are really just intended for entertainment. Horoscopes hold no real ground in scientific fact from reading the stars or anything. Mostly people who work for the newpapers, magazines, or websites are just making up horoscopes. As a matter of fact, many newspapers have a disclaimer on their horoscopes stating that they are only for entertainment purposes. So although horoscopes can be fun to read, I would definately not suggest that you base you life on them!

A bunch of crap. The people who write them know that. the things they give in horoscopes are very general, can apply to anyone. It's really us, the readers, who do most of the work. We subconsciously apply them to our circumstances, to things that may have happened, and when they do happen, WE are the ones that make them fit the horoscope. We are convincing ourselves that they are real, when there is no true way of predicting the future.

I read my horoscope every day usually. Do I believe everything it says? No. But I do like to use it as a guide. The information in it is usually helpful and uplifting and in some way useful to my life.

I like to read my horoscope at the end of the day, to see if the horoscope was correct in my days forecast. That way im not trying to make my horoscope happen throughout my day. (if i would have read it in the morning)

Fun to read.
Do you know that when we're into supertitous too much and then you read something bad will happen to you or maybe you will face failure. If you stick your mind to it, it will happen. You notice?
Logically, it's because our mind has been fixed to the thought of failure. So we tend to let loose instead of fighting it. So when it happens, you will only say to yourself, ''see, it's been said in the horoscope''...

It makes a little sense. I mean really being born a certain time of year can shape who you are.
