The race of Jesus has been a subject of debate since at least the 19th century. The physical appearance of Jesus of Nazareth, though with no explicit emphasis on race, was also debated by theologians from early on in the history of Christianity. Different societies have depicted Jesus and most other biblical figures as their own ethnicity in their art, for example he is primarily white in the West, and black in Africa. Such representations are not, in the modern day, usually intended to be historically accurate. The current dominant opinion among secular historians and scientists is that he most likely had light-brown skin, resembling modern-day persons of Middle Eastern descent. Others, however, have suggested other possible racial backgrounds, including African ones.

In the narrow sense, His mother Mary being Jewish, He was a Jew. To truly understand the nature of his birth one must understand the concept of the Trinity. That is God in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy Spirit. His earthly father, Joseph, was His stepfather as Jesus, being God The Son, was born to Mary by way of God the Holy Spirit Jesus came as a human to die for our sins. You may learn more of this Good News by reading the 1st 4 books of the new testament called the Gospels. You poised an interesting question and disagreements are bound to be submitted - but to those few who would revile Him, the bible is very clear: "Be not deceived, God is not Mocked!"

HUMAN.
Truth is, there is no such thing as race. It is a social construct and has no meaning in biology. Unfortunately it has been used to foster some of the worst human conflicts and tragedies in history.
There is only one race, the HUMAN RACE. All other human "distinctions" are purely geographical, cultural, or linguistical. All humans are the same inside, skin colour and facial features are just skin deep. To make these shallow features the basis of deep-seated divisions and so totally off-base and unwarranted.

Jesus Christ is Jewish, if you consider that a race. Otherwise he looks half oriental, half white with dark brown hair and blue eyes (actually brown but he wears blue contacts.) He wears his hair parted to the side and he also no longer has a mustache or beard. He shaved it in the late '80s.

Judaism is not a race -- it is a particular people. Because anybody can switch to the Jewish faith, does not mean that they have switched race. Jesus was Semitic -- both the Jews and Muslims are Semitic peoples.

Good question. If he always existed, as is stated in the gospel of John, his creation predated the existence of races, therefore he would have none.
If he was a man, he was Semitic.
