I have a large tattoo on my ankle. And getting any tattoo has some amount of pain involved with it. Some places hurt more then others. I don't think the one on my ankle was that bad. Actually I think the position I had to sit in for 2 1/2 hours made my hip hurt more then the tattoo itself. But I highly suggest NOT getting it on your ankle. If you feel you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO get a tatto, get it some where that most likely will be covered. Imagine going to a wedding and wearing a dress. It just wont look right. Or going to work in the summer with a skirt on, how would that look. I wish I had thought about it before I got that tattoo.

Tattoo on the ankle is going to hurt more then it will on say the arm but personally i don't care what others think of my tatts. You either like me or you hate me. As far as if they look trashy or not on the ankle i don't think so I had my tatts showing at my wedding but that was my choice. Some people choose to hide them as i do if i go out with my parents or do something with my husband that's part of the military. Just do what you want. Expect a little pain with whatever you do I have a high pain tolerance so things don't usually bother me like it would some people but just take note that you got a big bone that the tattooist can hit and that'll sting for a bit.

Sorry to say but a foot tattoo hurts sooo bad! I got my foot done with a vine and stars around it. Hurts but if you broke your ankle im sure you can handle the pain. Unfortunately a tattoo artist has to have proof that your friend is the legal guardian, Like a birth certificate with there name on it. Or an ID that states you have the same last name. Sorry. Good luck though!

I have several tattoos on my legs and ankles I am a tattoo artist in training and I can personally tell you that everyone has there own ability to tolerate pain.
Some tolerate it extreemley well while others fail miserably. It really depends on your pain tolerance in general as well as the size of the tattoo.
Generally speaking to me and several others no it dose not hurt over bad at all . It is a needle it dose not tickle but it is tollerable.
Hope that helps

Dear,
It will surely hurt! But, Depends why you want a tattoo? I mean, If it's for someone special or If you like it as a fashion, then I think you can bear it 'coz mind willing humans can do anything. If you are interested, then go ahead! Have a wonderful day and May you be blessed!

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.
So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.
Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.
A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.
Heal your ankle fully & fast?

I have 3 tattoos on my ankles. It hurts like a SOB. But SO worth it. I love them. It doesn't matter what other people think of what you look like with them, if you want it, and are happy with it, then do it. I could care less who thinks mine look trashy, I love them and wouldn't change having them for anything. They are a part of who I am and represent phases in my life that were awsome. Why would you care what someone thought of that?

NO!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry but tattoos just look trashy maybe they look "hot" when you first get one but eventually it will fade and you won't be able even tell what it is anymore plus if you ever get fat or when you turn old it will look all saggy or it will be stretched out. My advice is to NEVER get a tattoo no matter who tells you it's cool please don't listen because they're not. Oh and yes I'm sure it will hurt but hopefully I changed your mind and you won't have to go through that. By the way the bible says you should never mark your body with permanent markings so keep that in mind also.

if u have skinny ankles it will hurt realy bad... and i personally think it will look trashy. i think tatoos on the ankles on a girls leg or ankle looks trashy.. try your shoulder blade, neck, or lower back. i have one there. it didnt hurt too bad.
just make sure you go to a nice clean place. oh and make sure its 100% what u want and bring a friend. they can talk with you and help take your mind off some of the pain.
good luck!
