My son was messing with my computer, and suddenly, when I open programs or minimize or anything, the button is no longer in my start bar. I cant figure out what he did and he doesnt know either. Can anyone help?

Sorry. Normally, the taskbar shows buttons for all running and/or minimized programs, folders, etc. It no longer displays these. Now when I minimize, the window seems to go below (as in off the screen) the taskbar, and I have to alt-tab to get back to it.

A lil bit more of explanation of the problem is helpful... Do you not see the taskbar at all? When you open a program, do you not see the button for that program in the taskbar (if the taskbar is still there)? What actually happens on your system?
