We are only inviting 32 people to our beach wedding. One side of our family has 13 people and the other side has 19. The smaller families with these numbers are of course not even in number to distribute them into rows. Would it be ok to just have an additional row on one side? Also will empty seats look tacky since it is so small? For example I have two families with five people, the rest are 4 or less can I just make rows of five to accommodate them and have the rest of the rows have an empty seat in them?

I think make even rows with 15-18 chairs each, and let people sit where they like. The parents and family members will know where to sit, but the other people can fill in so it looks nice.
At a small beach wedding, I don't think it needs to be exactly right or evenly split his side/her side..

One comment that a friend of mine kept reminding me of during my wedding comes to mind. This is your wedding, and all of the small details seem like huge deals. When your wedding day comes, people are there to see you and your fiance tie the knot. They aren't there to critique all the decorations and arrangements. Do what you think will work best. It is very unlikely that anyone will notice or mention if there are a few empty seats! Good luck and congratulations!

Why is the beach so small. Is is due to coastal erosion. That is a problem. If you contact your congressman you may be able to get the Army Core of Engineers to help. Or find a larger beach. Depending on when your wedding is this may be the simpler solution.

As positive as a wedding ceremony planner sounds no longer everyone will pay for that. i extremely don't have a lot advice, yet some thing you should do is flow to the area of the marriage and see the position you may upload issues to beautify.

Why not just have say 35 chairs and the people can sit where ever, don't make it a her side and his side. In my wedding my in laws way over numbered my side, my side had my parents and brother and that's it.. people just sat wherever they wanted.

FOLDING CHAIRS FOR OLDER AND BLANKETS FOR KIDS AND WHOMEVER THERE MAYBE SOME LOGS NEARBY WHERE PEOIPLE MAY SIT.. THERE MAYBE ENOUGH DRIFT WOOD AROUND TO PROP UP A LOG BENCH. OR IF THERE IS ONLY SEATING FOR SAY 10 OR 15 THE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO SIT CAN TAKE TURNS SITTING.
