my crush asked me to go to the movies with him on saturday. just me and him. but i usually just talk to him online or text, i'm too shy to talk to him at school. he really wants me to go because he keeps bringing it up, i want to go but i 'm afraid i'll be shy and hardly talk and just make myself look really stupid. should i just go or make up an excuse?

GO!!!!! you will regret it if you don't! i was the exact same way with this guy i really liked.. and i can tell you that they don't really care That much if you are nervous and don't talk much on the first date.. they usually know you are and understand. and plus he already sounds like he likes you so i'm pretty sure he will just be happy you are going with him and to be in your company!!!! trust me i've been through this a few times.. it is best to go and see what happens.. and you might even be surprised!

If you're lucky enough to find someone to love who loves you back, it's a gift. Throwing away what could become a great relationship because you're nervous is foolish. A first date only lasts one night, but a relationship could last years and many happy memories.
So you're shy, huh? Just remember that this guys asked you out because he likes you. Of course you're nervous. He is too. He is not going to forget about you just because you didn't know what to say.
If you turn him down, he'll think you don't like him, and you'll never forgive yourself. So take a shower, do your hair, and wear something nice. You won't need to be talking that much during the date anyway, since it's a movie. If you're sitting down in silence and you can't think of what to say, just make something up. Talk about school. Talk about your hotdog. Talk about his orange socks. Make an effort. Smile at him. Talk about the movie. Talk about how annoying your parents were tonight. Just talk.

Hi Sam, You should go if you like this guy. You need to learn how not to be shy. Why not tell a joke or something to break the ice. You will in time get over your shyness,go have fun,and enjoy your company. A Friend.

Think the best thing to do first is to stop feeling bad about yourself then if there is really nothing weird with the movie i guess you should go and in that you will get a chance to study this person well to see whether he suits you or not

go,remember other people some times dont know what to say either,if you keep avoiding going out with him he will get to the point he wont ask once the ice is broken you will have a great time,he is just a person like yourself he may not know what to say either overcome your shyness and enjoy the movies......God Bless

Go, for sure! If you like this guy, it doesn't really matter how you feel at the beggining, that'll change very fast. You'll relax at the movies, and talk- trust me. Just relax and go.
