i got involved with him knowing he still had feeling for his ex. BUT he gave me the impression that he was getting over her and would wanted to see where it could go with me. For 3 months it was the same thing. I still stuck around hoping it was me. A month ago he said it was me he wanted to be with that i had no more worries. then a week after that he says that relationships are too painful and he doesnt want to do it, that we should take it slow. said he doesnt want to have sex anymore, and we have twice. i wanted to go again and he said no. we still sleep in the same bed, and i want to have sex. i figure he doesnt mean what he says so i will seduce him anyway. does sticking around taking his confused nonsense make me look foolish? Am I disrespecting myself.

Darling, you are cutting yourself way too short. This guy is using you as a rebound. He has not yet gotten over his ex and you will be heading for the heartbreak motel any second. By the way, when he does not want ot have sex with you, it is so possible that he has already slept with her again. I suggest you move out of that bed and out of the home if possible...or put him out....you definitely need some space away from each other to get rid of all of this confusion. No need for you to be his doormat that he will eventually throw away once he has used you to wipe his feet all over. Always remember, you deserve better than this.

I think you should respect his feelings, and if he does not want to have a sexual relationship at this time then you should not pressure him into it. I think it is nice that he is with you, and NOT wanting sex. This way you can see that he is not with you only for the reason to have sex. Give it some time. People should fall in love before jumping into the sack right away anyways. Does it not sound so much sweeter to say 'Making Love', rather than 'Having Sex'?

woow, he even said no. I think it's ruining the relationship between you two. first, you're not respecting his decision. then it doesn't seem like the relationship is progressing and you should give him time to get over his ex. I mean, what would he think of you? i'll say, stop sleeping n the same bed with him. it's for the good of the relatuonship.

If it were me, I'd be getting ready to cut my losses and move on. Emotional rollercoaster rides, and trying to figure out where I stand in someone's life ain't for me. Go go go...get out with your friends and get some drinks tonight. He is way too confused to have anyone in his life right now.

Give it up. Pack your things and move on. You are never going to know if he really cares for you until he is through "grieving" for his ex.
In the meantime, why should you waste time sitting on the back burner waiting for him to come around. That might never happen.
