I just bought this car as a second vehicle and there is no owners manual with it, the first thing that I had to have done was the 0-2 sensor replaced, now someone is telling me I can ruin it by using wrong grade of fuel....

Newer vehicles should be compatible with a regular octane. However, you would do your Sunfire a favor by purchasing gas with additives (Chevron, for example). I've seen some cars come in with water in their gas tanks, and it's cured by a can or two of Heet, but try to avoid cheaper gas, since it may not nearly have enough "goodies" for your car! :) Happy mileage!

I would go to the car store and ask to look at their car book or call a local Sunfire dealer. I think as long as it is unleaded you should be okay.
