Depends on the area, if it is a sensitive area it could cause pain especially if not treated early.

Example would be the tongue area where thrish could cause pain.

Yes a yeast infection can cause itching and burning of the effected area.
But then so can a lot of other infections, you should seek a medical professionals opinion.
