Is a hand written letter more sentimental than an email? Which would be perceived better? Which one magnifies the words more, in an email or hand written letter?

Handwritten....actually from a nice pen... from your own hand ... that's a traditional and very very touching. He can hold the same paper you were holding and he can re read it at anytime...

your best bet..!

Best of Luck

I find that an email is faster and easier, but for the personal touch, NOTHING beats getting something in the postal mail. If you are sending a Thank You, an email is NEVER the better choice. It is considered good manners to send a handwritten Thank You within a couple of days after receiving a gift or favor from someone, and especially after an interview of a job you REALLY want...it shows professionalism, poise and real thoughtfulness. Letter writing is much more fun, and I have tons of special notecards, stationary and stickers I send to friends and family. I still have a pen pal i have had for 25 years!!!

A hand-written letter would be more romantic and definitely more personal.
