Trek all the way! Because in the Star Trek universe, Earth has conquered all it's problems. There are no more war, racism, poverty or disease. It was when they made first contact with the Vulcans, it changed the way humans saw themselves and had a profound effect on the planet. In a much better way that the bible could ever do.

well apparently on earth in the 24th century people work for the betterment of all mankind there is no need for money.
This is the way the first Christians lived. if you read the bible and see what Jesus wanted and how they lived then the two ideas of a peaceful world have allot in common.
I think if we try and live the way they lived in the bible the world would very quickly resemble the world envisioned by the writers of Star trek.
It is a shame that religions stopped acting like Christians along time ago.

I would have to say they are relatively the same. The major difference is the use of science to describe the points being made.

Parables of right and wrong spoken from a writer's mind. The questions that arise in both cases boils down to one question and one question alone.

As the reader, do you agree with the author or not? Either way. WHY?

The original Star Trek, was the first to show a multi national, and multi cultural society living together in harmony.
It also showed that with guidance, wars, famine, disease and monetary greed was abolished.
The only religion was by other beings, so maybe that to was abolished.......lol
MORE than what the Bible, or its followers have done to date!
