Wow,something like this has happened to me before, with the whole date and sweaty hands. I learned that if you think of the positive and forget about the negative it works.First, you just have to in vision yourself (before the date and/or during)having a good date without the sweat and nerves. Since it's your first date and all, if you can control one of these two things, even if it's only one, feel prod of yourself, reward yourself,if not, keep on trying till it works. Remember, positive over negative. Good Luck Chris

If this really is your first date...You won't be able to control your emotions...They'll run the gamet....That's a good thing if you really like him. Don't ever kiss on the first date. It will give him to many BAD ideas about you. You will know if he is serious about you or if he's just playing around... It's called instinct.... You probably wouldn't have accepted a date with him. OR He wouldn't have asked if he didn't like you. If your hands are sweaty...put powder on them. Be sure to take alot of tissues OR don't touch him on the skin. That way he shouldn't be able to tell that your hands are wet. Who knows .... That may be one of the reasons he asked you out. Just have fun. That's what dating is all about.

getting on a date doesn't really mean the guy TOTALLY likes you. well, let's just say he likes you, would you fall for him just because he invited you out? girl, this is the chance for you to know him better and vice versa. so, to keep the sweating glands on hold within your palms, always keep a handerchief on hand, it works! and about the kissing part, hmmmmm, don't expect too much coz it might end with a kiss on the cheek! just remember: to make your date memorable, just be yourself. let things flow naturally and it'll make wonders. no pretensions. no expectations.
way to go girl.

Breathe deep, relax, and be yourself; after all, that's why he likes you, right? The better you get to know each other, the nerves will settle down on their own. Be patient, and chill out!

relax!he obviously liked you enough to ask you out in the first place.remind yourself that he's just a guy and if things dont work out, there'll be more opportunities.think of the date as just two friends getting together and nothing more.and you'll know if he likes you if he asks you out again.good luck

This too shall pass! Just be yourself...be as comfortable as possible...don't wear clothes you are going to be miserable in....the idea is to just have fun....show your date you are interested in him and stop worrying about yourself. You want him to enjoy the date too.....so just find out if you are going to enjoy dating him again....that's what he will be doing too.
The rest just comes with getting to know him. Stop worrying ahead of time.
