LOL it is how she likes to eat. My silly cat scoops his food out onto the floor before he will eat. Don't worry the cats OK

It's just some thing the cat does. No one will really know why tho. I used to have a white cat that would pick up one kibble (piece of dry food) at at time with her paw, put it in her water bowl and scoop it out and eat it. Our furry felines are full of little quirks that we think are strange. That's cats for ya!

if her whiskers above her eyes touch the wall she may not like it. their whiskers are like little sensory things-like nerves. it may irritate her. on the other hand cats are strange and do things for their own reasons. if i lay a placemat down beneath my cat's dishes they rip it out from underneath an spill everything all over the floor. they then drag it to a corner and try to hide it. same goes for the bathroom rug. freaks!

Why don't you try to move the dishes away from the wall. See how that works. Good luck!!!!

She doesn't want her head to rub on the wall. She is a cat, she is a priss. My cat wants a big bowl so her face doesn't rub on the inside of it.

she wants to see behind her,and see if anything is coming up behind her. I bet if you put it in the middle of the floor she will eat facing the open room or the other cat

maybe she just hates eating by the wall. all cats have differnt behavoirs maybe the wall is just to close for her head to fit or maybe shes just plain picky.

Her ears touch the wall when she eats and she's sensitive. I can relate. I can't eat with my glasses on. Light reflects in them and I can't see my plate.

My cat does that too!! I'm still trying to figure out why. It frustrates me. I'm clueless as to what to do and why she does it.
