a cold or i'm guessing you mean pnuemonia (which can be viral or bacterial) are both caught by droplets in the air. they are caught by breathing in the germs around you or by touching something the infected person has touched. i'm a bit concerned as to why you would want to go out and catch this intentionally? sounds a bit self destructive.
