Me and my friend are back from a trip to Tennessee this weekend. Late last night we were driving back to the campsite from a bar when a dang ole black bear that I guess had been digging around in the dumpster ran in front of me. It knocked the crap out of the front bumper and fender of my truck then got all tangled up under the suspension and tire -- what a dang mess. We jacked up the truck but just couldnt pull the varmit out so Sonny pulled out the chainsaw I keep in the toolbox and started cutting. It seemed like a good idea but it slung blood and meat all over us and the truck. We threw the biggest pieces in the bed and chunked the guts in the ditch. We both went to the showers to clean up and an old man was there and dang near passed out when he saw us I reckon he thought we had killed somebody. We decided to leave right then and packed up and took off. I wonder what the people at the Cullman waffle house said when they found a bear head in their dumpster? Any recipes?

Cook as you would any other wild game meat. It is a little tough unless it is cooked low and slow.

Try a chili recipe or cut into steaks and grill them (well done).

Cute story sorry for the bear. I'm not sure if the authorities needed to be contacted about the bears death. You can eat bear meat it tastes like regular meat I ate some at a church function some years ago in chili beans it was very good. I do remember my dad saying they killed many bears when he was growing up on the reservation and all the meat was shared. I remember is that the meat was strong but that can be taken away by soaking the meat in buttermilk. I hope that I have been some help to you.

nicely they might consume people if there have been any people there. surely researchers usually run into difficulty with the bears simply by fact they have little or no concern of people. it somewhat is as a results of the fact they seldom run into them. some bears in all probability stay their entire lives devoid of seeing a human. they only in no way learn that a human can shoot them. in the climate the place polar bears and persons do work together, people are from time to time hunted and killed for nutrition. I published this someplace else yet i will assert it back right here. it somewhat is a fantasy that polar bears are the only endure that intentionally hunt people. Grizzlies, different browns or maybe the black endure has been popular to seek, kill and consume people. the only distinction in it somewhat is that polar bears are much less in all probability to benefit that people are risky. for this reason fewer will run from people.

Y'all ain't the brightest of bulbs, huh! Yes, you can eat bear meat: clean it up and hand it to your mother who'll cook it just like roast beef. You can also ask her what she thinks of someone who'd make up a cock-and-bull story like this one!
