No sex does not have to occur. Any sexual behavior, touching, showing, inappropriate comments, all qualify. It's also a matter of how a person makes physical contact with a child. A touch on the back from one person is comfort; a similar appearing touch from a pedophile can be sexual in nature. It can be a matter of intent and of sexual energy (or lack thereof).

If you mean "does sexual penetration have to occur", the answer is no. That is one form of sexual abuse. Any form of sexual involvement, such as exposing the genital area to a minor, kissing/fondling, showing porno in person or on the computer. In a short answer, anything meant to stimulate a child, is a form of sexual abuse. Sodomy and genital penetration (with an object or penis)..all are sexual abuse.
Think of the most loving person you would be having sex with, a caring, loving form of sex, sharing a wonderful experience. Now, think of a 3 year old, or a 12 year old, having to endure the same thing...THAT is sexual abuse. BECAUSE they cannot be a participant as a minor in such foreplay, etc. Sex is an adult activity to show how much we care for one another, not to show how much power we have over each other.
The scars never go away; it is one of the cruelest forms of abuse, because it covers emotional, psychological, physical and sexual abuse, all in one way.

Hello I can tell you that I have lots of experience with sex offenders and If your body is being touched in any way and I mean any way that your not feeling comfortable then back that person off even if they are related to you or not. Even a stare or an ugly glance is considered abuse. Tell someone that your not feeling comfortable around that particullar person and remove him right away from your premises. Dont think that being abused is just sexually but there are many different forms of this abuse. If your not feeling comfortable around this person then get out right away and if he or she wont leave you alone then go tell someone that you trust. Take care of yourself cause your worth it.

There are many things that are considered child sexual abuse. It doesn't have to be sex its touching being made to touch someone or watching anything like that. If anything has happened to you or to someone you know I urge you to report it right now. If it is you don't be embarrassed the best thing you can do is get the sick person in prison right now.Don't wait until it is to late.

Are you the kid or the pedaphile?
If youre the kid in the situation... dont worry about if youre sure or not whether this has occured... obviously you feel violated (or know someone who has been) enough to make this post. You need to call a hotline or talk to someone you trust who can do something about it.
