well my school has a valentines dance on the 14th, and im going with someone, but idk how to slow dance. what should i do if they ask me to dance. should i say yes? or what idk. i cant even regular dance. someone help?

ask your mom, dad, brother, cousin, friend to show you how to dance. Rent some movies with dancing in them.
Slow dancing is just you hold each others hands and your body is kind of close but not touching and you let the guy lead, and you just move one foot this way and back. Kinda in a circle. I
Just observe what other people do.
Only dance with someone you like.
Go to the video store and ask the video person what dvd's have teenage movies with parties with dancing in them.
The geeks that work there will know every movie and help you out!
if they ask what for, tell them it's for a school project!!!
or play!!
Just have fun, wear something pink ok red, have fun, smile a lot!
Be social and hang with your friends!!
don't dance with anyone who creeps you out, and if you are dancing and slow dance and you feel creeped out, just say, excuse me.......i need to go get some water!!!

Slow dancing does not require a lot of moving. Just take it slow, get together with a friend before and practice a little. Good Luck.

See with slow dancing all you have to do is put your hands around there neck and he puts his hands on your waist and you just move from side to side, it's really easy and if you can't do it this guy will probally lead you so you shouldn't have any worries and as for regular dancing just have fun and be goofy you should be fine

The consensus is red so that means if you wanna be the bell of the ball and catch everyone's attention, don't wear red - wear something sheer and white with nice clean lines, spaghetti straps v-neckline (doesn't have to be plunging). Then if you can find a deep or crimson velvet/faux fur or other luxury/textured shawl or something to drape over the shoulders and put on or take off, ur set. White is classy . Plus the white is the perfect accent/compliment to the sea of red. Doh.. I just re-read the question and didn't realize u were only 13. forget my advice.

Ask one of your friends to help you. Practice with your best friend and anyone can slow dance it doesn't take any special movements

yes you should dance with them because if you dont they will think you dont like them...just tell them that you have no clue how to slow dance because they probably feel the same way!!

go on youtube.com and search for slow dance videos. watch and learn from that. and if he asks you to dance just say i dont really know how to dance and he will just lead you. it would be so cuteeee x]

say yes. all you have to do is follow. its quite simple, so dont worry. im in middle school, and we dont actually waltz, we just rock back and forth. but whatever you do, all you have to do is follow, thats the good part about being the girl.
