i bought green bananas about a week and a half ago and they aren't turning yellow! it's very strange! why is this happening?

put them in a brown paper bag with an apple, the gas from the apple will ripen the nanners...just don't forget about the brown paper bag!

Bananas can be easily fooled into ripening by hanging them from a hook or something. They become yellow very quickly that way. I hang mine from a shelf bracket. Works every time. You might be keeping them in a too cold spot.
