My best friend and I talk about how we're made for each other and how we'll get married one day etc. I love him,but thought we'd just be friends (we're both shy) so got another bf.Then he got a gf & I split up with bf. Me and my best friend have talked a lot about travelling together. He now says he's not sure he wants to leave his currrent gf, but gets relaly upset when we talk about travelling and ssays its really confusing. He said if he travels with me it'll be the end of him and her, but he's still tempted to come with me, precisely because it'll be an opportunity to travel with ME. He's talked to his gf about travelling, but said he hadn't mentioned to her going with me.I sometimes feel there's an unspoken thing that in choosing to come with me, he'd be choosing me over her in terms of a relationship.Am I right to think this?Should I tell him that's what I feel, or is it wrong?

I don't understand why the two of you just didn't get together. If you love each other you should be with each other. Tell him what's on your mind. It would probably make things easier.

it sounds like to me he likes you, but doesnt want to ruin a good friendship. But it does sound like if he does go with you, he'll want a relationship, and only you and him can determine what happens there. I would tell him what you feel. The same thing happened with me and my bf. We liked one another for about a year, but i never seen that he liked me too becuase i had a bf, but when we boke up he came and said that he liked me. Then we debated for a while whether we should date or not becuase we were really good freinds, but now we are, and we're really happy. So i'd talk to him about it.

Yes, I would agree that hes making it into if he goes he chosing you over her, so yes you should tell him and explain to him that you either want it to be a choice of him choosing between you and her or you just want it to be two friends traveling together and nothnig more.

this is very confusing and there's more to this than I think you are telling us. I don't know. I think he is confused too.
