I had an abcess tooth that did not hurt at all. I had it pulled on Wednesday and now I am in the same boat as you its' Sunday and my whole jaw hurts.

Take some pain medication and call the dentist tomorrow morning. They'll probably put you on antibiotic before they work on it.

When i had my abcess i cracked the tooth till i could get to the dentist, not really advisable, but it gets the pressure off, and the pain out. ora-gel works for temporary relief

You can use heat on it and take some Ibuprofen.
That's about all you can do today without going to the ER and getting on an antibiotic and stronger pain meds.
