went to see some friends in RI and their siamese cat is diffrent than mine but we both have pure ones

There are different types of Siamese. You can have a traditional also known as apple-head or a modern also known as a wedge head. The most common color is a Seal Point, but there are also Blue, Chocolate, Red, Flame and Tortie just to name a few. I have 2 Seal Point Wedge Head. They are the ones with the pointy heads and ears. Apple-head have a round head. They are all wonderful little 'Meezers, just depends on your preference.

If they are pure breeds more than likely just there line. You could check into it. With pure breads you should have the access to ancestry. With the states so close the breeders may have cross bread the cats some where in the history.

Do you or your friend have an Applehead Siamese? there is a difference. Take a look at different breeders sites, the head and faces are definately different.

There are different kinds of Siamese cats.
They can be different colors.
Also, pure breed only means the parents were pure. It doesn't mean that the babies are show worthy. It doesn't have anything to do with the babies coloring.
