I know this may sound hard or silly even but look in the mirror every day and say I love myself find things you like about yourself and write it down. Do things that you know are right no matter what anyone else says.Dress nice just for the hell of it and go to the mall or even a grocery store and hold your head up high and smile.I went through this and believe me its a struggle at first but it will get easier. Have you ever went to a party or hung out with a bunch of people and there was that one girl who wasnt the prettiest in the room but she seemed to be getting alot of attention and your like what the hell, its because she had self confidence. I hope this might help a little. If you ever need to talk you can email me anytime.

whatever it is that you think you want to do: ask yourself why you'd be good at doing it.
So, in the context of a job interview, put yourself in the place of employer... why would you hire you? I find that always helps me to clarify my thoughts and bring to the surface my confidence.
Also, get therapy, bcz odds are you had shitty parents that didn't teach you to respect yourself enough. Therapy will help with that.
Also, start a journal and write 3-5 positive things about yourself everyday. doesn't have to be big, but just remind yourself everyday of a few things you do well. It reinforces positive self-talk. Self-respect is a habit that can be learned.

Sit yourself down and write out 10 positive things about yourself. Look at things which you would rate in others and see what you can find.

Make a list of your plus points, basically.

Then make a list of those things you appreciate about OTHERS which you do not, yet, possess.

Then work on swapping those things you admire but do not have to your plus points list. It might be something like that your friend is good at listening to her friends. Practice your listening skills and improve yourself.

As you improve yourself and your list swaps from being about what you admire in others and more about what you admire about yourself, you will like yourself better.

And LIKING yourself is the first step in respecting yourself.

And once you respect yourself others will respect YOU. And when THEY do you will respect yourself even more.

So small beginnings lead to grand things here!

:-)

You have to live your life in a way that you believe deserves respect. Do things that make you feel proud of yourself. Treat yourself with respect and don't let other people disrespect you either.

i imagine you pass after them because they look sturdy and positive. it really is a organic instinct for women to pass after self assurance, because, self-consciously, they don't forget that positive, sturdy men will keep them secure, yet for sure now and again organic instinct can lead you astray. there is no longer something you may want to do to offer up this except staying remote from them. If this is men in college that are treating you this way, do exactly not date till you graduate and are separated by potential of jobs. The jerk men will pass be garbage men even as you pass to be some absurdly wealthy well being care specialist or in spite of. If this is men at artwork that are being jerks to you, tell your on-line agency. yet when this is basically men in school... do exactly not date. uncomplicated as that.
