It sounds like your puppy has quite a few health problems, having been diagnosed with kennel cough and coccidia at 14 weeks old.

Personally, I would continue seeing your vet (or maybe a different vet if you're unhappy with the first one) about his health issues. He needs to be treated until he can be given a clean bill of health, even if this continues for some time.

Did you get this puppy from a responsible breeder? If so, you may also want to contact the breeder in regards to these health issues. At the very least, the breeder should be made aware of them.

So far every thing the vet has given to your pup is fine, sometimes kennel cough can last quite a spell, your pup may be allergic to some thing in the house or even dry conditions, you may want to try a vapourizer without the menthol in it.if you do see the vet again and something else is given seek another opinion after that.I have actually used Buckley's cough syrup on the dog.It taste strong, but it works.

kennel cough last for a long while my puppy had it at 8 weeks old and it lasted over a month they put her on the clavamox and it wasn't strong enough I took her to another vet who took an xray to make sure her lungs were cleat then he put her on zithromax which helped her much better. when you shower bring her in the room with you so she can breathe in the steam it will help.

For starters I would find a different vet. Sounds like all he's worried about is getting money and not your yorkies well being.

Go back to the vet when he's better and get him vaccinated.
